CM Raghubar Das Inagurated Fruit and Vegetable Processing Plant worth Rs.76.65 crore in Ranchi

Chief Minster Raghubar Das laid the foundation stone for the integrated fruit and vegetable processing plant at Nagdi block in Ranchi on January 11. Mother Dairy Fruit and Vegetable Pvt. Ltd. subsidiary of National Dairy Development Board is carrying on the whole project.

The fruit and vegetable processing plant will be benefiting around 50,000 farmers according to NDDB chairman T. Nandkumar.

Mother Dairy will set up two plants one for freezing facility for fruits and vegetables and the other for pulp and concentrates. The freezing plant will have the capacity of 5000 ton.

The project will cost Rs.76.65 crore in which state government will provide around Rs.15 crore.
