Anti-Maoist Operation in Chhattisgarh's Sukma held 5 CoBRA Commandos Injured

5 CRPF commandos, including two officers sustained bullet injuries during an anti-Maoist operation in Sukma, Chhattisgarh on Monday. The incident took place around 12.30 pm when the CRPF's exclusive jungle warfare unit Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (CoBRA) got engaged in an encounter with Maoists in the jungles of Dabbanarka of Sukma district in south Chhattisgarh.
The CRPF personnel who sustained injuries were Commandant PS Yadav, Assistant Commandant Yogendra, Sub-Inspector Rajveer Singh, Head constable Santosh and Constable Sona Ram. All the injured commandos were belonged to the 208th CoBRA battalion and have been sent to the hospital. Moreover, Central Reserve Police Force, CoBRA and state police had started combing operation in the area.
